STAYING IN A YELLOW SUBMARINE

REALLY EXCITING TERMS AND CONDITIONS. STRAP IN, IT'S A REAL ROLLERCOASTER OF FUN. 

Definitions

  • “Terms”: these Terms and Conditions and applicable Terms of the host campsite.

  • “Website”: yellowsubmarineglamping.com, the website of Yellow Submarine Glamping.

  • “We” “Us” “Our” or “Ours” refers to the “Company” which is Weird & Wonderful Ltd t/a Yellow Submarine Glamping.

  • “Submarine” refers to the accommodation. It's not a real Submarine. Let's pretend it is though.

  • “Site” refers to the Campsite in which the Submarine is located.

  • “Agent” refers to a member of Our staff or Campsite staff.

 

1. Contract

1.1 These Terms set out the entire agreement between you and Yellow Submarine Glamping for the supply of Our services to you. Only these Terms shall apply to Our contract with you and by submitting a Booking you are deemed to have accepted these Terms.

1.2 We may at times revise or change these Terms, information on the website or via any of our marketing channels at any time and any such changes will take effect immediately.

1.3 In addition to these Terms, you must comply with the rules (as set out below). If you do not adhere to our Terms and rules or fail to pay for your accommodation, you will be in breach of your contract and you will be refused entry to the accommodation and forfeit your booking.

 

2. Bookings

2.1 A booking cannot be made for less than 2 nights or for more than 300 years.

2.2 Bookings can only be made via our website or through our contracted partners.

2.3 Bookings are non-transferable, unless we have given written consent.

2.4 When making a booking, you agree that you or at least one member of your party is 21 years of age or over, you accept these Terms & Conditions and you agree to be responsible for any loss or damage caused by any member of your party.

3. Payment

 

3.1 We only accept online payments.

3.2 Non-payment renders your contract with us as invalid and your booking will be cancelled.

3.3 Where a booking is made 4 weeks or more before the arrival date, a deposit of 25% of the cost of the booking is payable, with the balance payable 4 weeks before the arrival date. Confirmation of the booking will be sent after the deposit has been received. If the balance is not paid by the due date, we reserve the right to re-sell the accommodation and retain the deposit.

3.4 Where a booking is made less than 4 weeks before the arrival date, the full cost of the booking is payable. Confirmation of the booking will be sent after the full payment has been received.

 

We advise you to purchase appropriate travel insurance to cover cancellations, disruptions due to adverse weather conditions, personal belongings, loss etc. We cannot accept responsibility for your possessions whilst staying in the accommodation.

 

4. Amendments, Cancellations, and Refunds

4.1 If you want to amend your booking dates, please notify us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to the following:

  • Changes made will be at Our discretion.

  • If an amendment increases the price of your booking, the increased amount will be charged.

 

4.2 If you wish to cancel your booking, the following refund policy will apply:

  • If you cancel 4 weeks or more prior to your arrival date, a full refund will be made.

  • If you cancel less than 4 weeks prior to your arrival date, a full refund less 25% will be made. If we can resell the dates we may offer a further full or partial refund at our discretion.

 

4.3  Any cancellation must be confirmed in writing by email, by the person who made the booking.

4.4  No refunds will be made in the event of a no show, nor for a booking reduction within 4 weeks of or after the arrival date.

4.5  We will only accept poor weather as a reason for cancellation/rebooking if it is deemed as unsafe and risk to public safety in which case you will be offered alternative dates.

 

4.6  In the unlikely event of cancellation of your booking by us i.e. if we are unable to provide the booked holiday and have to cancel before the holiday is due to start – you will receive a full refund of all monies paid. You may also choose alternative dates at a discount by way of apology.

5. Site rules. Yes, there have to be rules…

 

You, together with all members of your party, are required to comply with the following;

 

5.1 Check-in is from 2pm. Check out is up to 11am unless a late check out has been granted by prior written agreement.

 

5.2 The person booking and all guests agree to take good care of the accommodation and facilities during their stay and to show consideration to other guests, site staff and the Campsite. Sites are all family friendly and we ask all guests to respect this and to adhere to a quiet time from 22:00 until 08:00. Poor behaviour, including but not limited to; drunk, disorderly or abusive behaviour; loud or disrupting music or excessive noise, wilful damage to the location or accommodation or other behaviour considered by site staff to be inappropriate may result in us asking you and/or members of your party to leave the location immediately. We reserve the right to evict offensive persons immediately. No refunds or compensation will be given in these circumstances.

 

5.3 Us or our Agents reserve the right to enter and inspect the accommodation at any time. You are responsible for the costs of any breakage or damage found along with any additional costs that may result including inconvenience caused and spoilt future bookings. You are responsible for costs of repair, loss or damage caused by a failure to secure the accommodation or close all windows and doors properly. We reserve the right to withhold damage deposits, make charges against credit cards or to invoice for damages.

 

5.4 The accommodation is designed for a maximum of 4 people and so this is the maximum party size. The available berths are 1 x double bed, 1 childs' bunk and 1 x sofaBed.

 

5.5 Pets - only one small dog is allowed inside the accommodation.

 

5.6 Smoking is strictly prohibited inside. Removal of smoke odours is extremely difficult and we reserve the right to evict any guest who we suspect is smoking or drug taking in the accommodation. Charges will be made to the guest to cover costs of any cleaning, deodorising and any loss of future rental revenue, which may occur as a result of smoking.

 

5.7 By booking the accommodation you agree to be responsible for all children and any dependants you are in charge of, and your own welfare and to take all reasonable precautions against personal injury, injury to others and damage to the site as a whole. Children remain the responsibility of their parents or guardians at all times in the accommodation and on the grounds.  Please ensure your children are supervised at all times and make sure you always know where your children are. 

 

5.8 On departure you agree to leave the accommodation as clean and tidy as you found it, with no excess litter, and undamaged. We expect guests to observe a reasonable level of cleanliness during their stay. Please deposit any rubbish in appropriate site bins. A basic cleaning fee is included in your booking but if the accommodation is left in an unfavourable state, you may be subject to an additional cleaning charge.

 

5.9 Campfires / open fires are only allowed within the designated firepit areas and only allowed by permission of the Site management / owner. Strictly NO fireworks or Chinese lanterns.

6. Limitation of our liability

6.1 Nothing in this section limits or attempts to limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by Our negligence or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other matter for which it would be illegal or unlawful for us to exclude or attempt to exclude Our liability.

6.2 If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a direct and foreseeable result of Our failure or Our negligence.  We shall not be responsible for any losses that you suffer that are indirect or not foreseeable, including, but not limited to, loss of income or revenue, loss of business and loss of anticipated savings.

6.3 We are not liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event we are prevented from fulfilling your booking as a result of circumstances beyond our control. Such circumstances shall include (but are not limited to) war, terrorism, serious crime, industrial action, extreme weather, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics or such similar events (“Force Majeure”).

6.4 Where we are responsible for your loss, Our maximum liability shall be no more than to refund the amount paid by you.

6.5 Anything you bring to the campsite is at your own risk. You use the facilities and amenities at the accommodation and the Campsite at your own risk, e.g. the Firepit, BBQ.

It is really important to us that you enjoy your stay and we make every effort to ensure this. However, in the event of any concerns with your stay, we will want to action this as soon as possible. It is essential that you contact us if any problem arises so that it can be resolved as soon as possible. It is extremely difficult to sort out difficulties unless told promptly. We cannot consider a refund request if we have not been given an opportunity to rectify a problem during your stay.
